Prairie Flute and Harp Duo

Jennifer Bailey currently teaches private flute and piano lessons and is
co-director of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church Children Choirs.  She
performs with Jennifer Buehler, harpist, in the Prairie Flute & Harp Duo, and
with her husband in the Bailey Flute Duo.  She is also a board member of the
Lincoln Music Teachers Association and the Nebraska Flute Club. She
received a Master of Music degree (2005) in flute performance from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she studied with Dr. John Bailey (no
relation).  She was a graduate teaching assistant in the flute studio where she
taught flute methods, private lessons, and assisted other music professors. She
has served as principal flutist of the Greater Grand Forks Symphony.  Jennifer
holds bachelor degrees in music education and speech-language-pathology from
the University of North Dakota.  Her previous flute instructors include Dr.
Christine Beard - University of Nebraska-Omaha, Debora Harris - Concordia
College, Moorhead MN, and Sharon Boschee - University of North Dakota.

The Duo has played for the
city of Lincoln's "That's
Entertainment" series, the
Celebrate Lincoln ethnic
festival, and for various
assisted living facilities in
Lincoln.
