A Resource for Caregivers
The Lincoln Caregivers Education Group provides resources and education to caregivers who may be caring for a spouse, parent, or other loved one. The primary emphasis is on Elder Care but as a caregiver of children with special needs, I have found several of the presentations to be helpful. There is a support group that meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at St Paul Methodist. Topics have ranged from advanced directives to phone fraud to helping prevent falls. They also provide information on other learning opportunities in the community.
