    Happy Thanksgiving!

    I am grateful to be doing what I love! Just two years ago, I wasn’t even sure that it would be possible to become a music therapist again. Music is powerful. I’ve seen that power in in my own life as well as that of my clients. I have formed many wonderful friendships through musical connections. I have helped facilitate a sacred space in church services, at funerals and at bedsides. I have seen active children become quiet and attentive when I begin to play. Please let

    The journal article “Indirect Music Therapy Practice and Skill-sharing in Dementia Care” was published in the Journal of Music Therapy in the Fall 2018 issue.
